About 4DR

What survives
examination.

4th Dimension Review exists because complex systems are increasingly discussed as narratives.

Infrastructure, energy, technology, markets, engineering, and public policy produce claims that often sound persuasive until assumptions are exposed, constraints are introduced, or the physical world gets a vote.

4DR examines what is true, what logically follows, and what remains standing when the conclusion meets reality.

The goal is not advocacy. The goal is clarity.

Independence is part of the method.

Independence

4DR discloses relevant author affiliations and relationships. Authors are responsible for their own published conclusions. An author’s employer, clients, or the subjects of a piece do not receive pre-publication review or control of its conclusion.

Sourcing

Reviews identify the evidence that supports consequential factual claims and distinguish fact, inference, and judgment where that distinction matters. Notes preserve shorter working-level observations and identify their original context; specific factual or quantitative claims receive sources. Illustrative figures are labeled as illustrative. Examples drawn from practice are composites or altered to respect confidentiality and nondisclosure obligations.

Corrections

When a published piece requires a substantive correction, 4DR corrects it in place and records a dated note at the end of the article. Corrections clarify the record; they do not erase it.

Focus methodology

Focus pages are AI-assisted syntheses of published 4DR Notes and Reviews. An editor reviews each Focus before publication, and every claim in its current record must link to underlying published work.

Sponsorship

4DR does not publish sponsored editorial conclusions. If commissioned research is ever published, the commissioning party, scope, and relevant relationships will be disclosed, and the commission will not control the analytical conclusion.
